Although this cake may be unknown to many of you, I would recommend you to try out one of these cakes, pop over to your nearest Portuguese coffee shop or just get in touch with us. These freshly baked Portuguese cakes are called ‘Queijadas’ they are butter flavoured with a hint of hazelnut, once cooled they become very moist and soft, your first bite will be one that you will not forget. Every time I am in Lisbon, I can not avoid purchasing one, its rich moisture and taste is so captivating.
In a fast paced life, it is hard appreciating such wonders, however this is one of those cakes you just have to appreciate and enjoy. I would recommend it with a very rich and creamy hot chocolate or coffee.
